The project “Habitat restoration for diadromous fish in River Mondego, Portugal” led by University of Évora, with the technical and scientific support of MARE-Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre, was ackownledged with the international prize “Distinguished Project in Fisheries Engineering and Ecohydrology “ awarded by the American Society of Civil Engineers (Environmental & Water Resource Institute) and the American Fisheries Society (Bioengineering Section).The ceremony took place during the congress Fish Passage 2016 on the 20th-22nd of june 2016, at the University of Massachusetts.
